Assistant Pastor, Jerry Boggs

We are excited to have been a part of South Point First Church of the Nazarene since 1982.  I have had the privilege of working alongside several of the SPF Senior Pastors in various support roles.  I graduated in 1985 from the West Virginia satellite of Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and was ordained as an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene that same year.  My wife, Joyce, who recently went home to be with the Lord were married since 1970 and always built our marriage around God and church ministry.  Together we were able to  enjoy horses, other animals and country living as well as being active in singing and preaching, not only at our home church, but in the surrounding Nazarene churches as the need arises.  We believe that the clergy is here to equip the Church to serve God.
