Nazarene Youth International (NYI)

Teens are vital to our church’s existence. Without you, we have no hope of surviving! We hope that when you visit, you will sense the feeling of community among the SPNaz teens. We do a lot of activities throughout the year:  here’s just a few of the things that we’ve done…Nazarene days at King’s Island, spiritual renewal at Winter Retreat, building friendships with other Nazarene teens at district Blast, movie nights, and more!  We’re certain that after you visit once, you won’t want to miss another moment!

Sunday

at 9:40 a.m., we have a Sunday School class that meets until 10:30 a.m. designed just for teens! 

at 10:40 a.m. you’ll join the adults in the sanctuary for a time of worshiping together.  Once there, you’ll get to experience the blessing of being surrounded by a inter-generational church family, while worshiping in song, in giving and in hearing a relevant message by our pastor.

Wednesday

At 6:30 p.m., we have a high-energy, action-packed service geared just for you!  Christian music that conforms to the style that you love to listen to, a Biblical message that relates to today’s teen culture followed by a time of fellowship and games fill this evening. Transportation to and from the service is provided upon request.

Teen Bible Quizzing

Bible quizzing ministry is a unique and exciting ministry for youth that combines Bible study, mentoring, competition, fellowship, discipleship, and mission. The ability to take each of these elements and mold them into a program attractive to teenagers is what makes quizzing such a successful, worthwhile, and worldwide ministry.

 

The Bible quizzing ministry in the Church of the Nazarene has come a long way in 50 years. This ministry continually creates and builds up a community of young disciples and servants, which steadily adds to a vast pool of leadership, continually strengthening the church and its ministries. More and more teenagers and youth leaders are realizing just what an impact quizzing can have in their lives and in the lives of people around the world!  We’re proud of our South Point First Teen Bible Quizzing teams!
